Smiling faces will come to you when you get out of the bus and being welcomed into the vibrant communities in the Northern Region of Ghana. Every Ghanaian is pleased to meet you and let u experience their cultural heritage in a way you won't find very often in Africa. Feel free to start your exploration of the Northern Ghana on tamaleonline.com. We are trying to describe all the festivals, celebrations, hot-spots and interesting sites the North has to offer, but still there is much more to explore! Travelling in the Northern Ghana: We have divided the Northern parts of Ghana into 4 sub-regions for travelling. First of all, we have the Tamale-region. Here, you'll find the places-to-be in Tamale and around Tamale where you can stay in Tamale and make various daytrips. Secondly, we have described activities around Tamale, where you can start your day in Tamale and return the following day to Tamale. Even though it's not always that far, it's worth to spend at least one night there.
Every trip you'll make will (probably) start in Tamale and from here, travelling to the various attractions in the Northern Region will take between 2 - 6 hours, depending on the means of transport. Feel free to contact Kawula for more information on single trips to the various attractions. We can arrange transportation (public or private transport), accomodation and onward trips into the specific region. We can also offer you suggestions of other attractions in the vicinity of your destination which you don't want to miss! |
